Going into fall may pleases me and my mood (as I mentioned in my last post) but it definitely doesn’t please my skin! I call September a transitional month. It leads us from summer to autumn, what actually means …we are going through changes. Changes that may confuse our system. Our body tries to figure out what is really going on and tries to adapt to the new ‘scenery’.
Are you feeling extremely tired?Does your hair fall or break off easily? Are your nails peeling or breaking? No? Then, what should I say… You’re lucky, girl! But a high percentage of people experience such problems through the whole month. And that’s the case for me as well.
Lately my skin looks a bit dull, my hair breaks off at the ends and it has definitely lost its shine. So, I was about to go on the hunt for some new products that would fix all the problems mentioned above and would make me nice as new again…until last Saturday.A friend of mine gave me this NUXE dry oil as a gift for my birthday and of course, right the next morning, I gave it a try.
I know, i know.. I am late on the bandwagon. Every beauty blogger raves about this for months now, but honestly I was a bit skeptical about trying it out, considering that I have combination to oily skin. Well… I shouldn’t! I ‘m using it since Sunday and I have already seen a difference without feeling greasy or sticky.
Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse is a multi-purpose dry oil. It’s consistancy is about 80% of natural origin. Borage, St. John’s Wort, Sweet Almond, Camellia, Hazelnet Hazelnut and Macadamia are the six precious oils that will make your skin feel like baby’s butt! Also, if you have problems with scarring, then the Vitamin E will help you with that issue. And of course…the scent! It smells heavenly! A bit flowery but warm at the same time. No wonder NUXE released a perfume with the same scent as well.
I like to use it on my hair about an hour before I take a shower. I apply some product at the ends of my hair, let it soak and then I follow my normal shower routine. After that, when my skin is still wet ,I spray some on my body and smooth it all over. As for the face I use it only at night(since my face gets pretty oily thoughout the day) , mixed with my usual night creme. The next morning I wake up with glowing skin and shiny, smooth hair! Oh! And just a little tip! If you have dry patches on your face caused by old pimples, apply some oil directly on the area. The next morning you’ll be able to peal off the dry skin without causing scars or harming your skin!
Have you tried this product? What are your thoughts about it?
